  • The Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail is a system of trails, bird sanctuaries, and nature preserves stretching 500 miles across Texas, made up of 43 trails and 308 birding sites. It boasts some of the best birdwatching in the world.
  • The Upper Texas Coast region of the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, where League City is located, consists of 15 birding-trail “loops.

 

  • The Clear Lake Loop has 16 official Upper Texas Coast birding sites.
