This park is an ode to water conservation, complete with a rain garden, water cisterns, outdoor classroom, native plant life, educational signage, a green-roof pavilion, and more. A playground space is centrally located, and there are also restrooms within the pavilion facility. The historic, century-old Ghirardi Compton Oak Tree lives on the park property, a testament to the legacy of League City’s founders who planted oaks throughout the city.

To make a reservation, please walk in to Hometown Heroes Park at 1001 East League City Parkway to fill out a reservation form. To check availability, contact the Hometown Heroes Park at 281-554-1180.

You must book your reservation at least a week in advance.

 If you pay your deposit with cash or a check you will receive a check mailed 7-10 business days after your event to the address you provide. If you pay with a card the deposit will be reflected to your account within 7-10 business days after your event. 

Yes, but it has very limited voltage. No guarantee with rental.

There are no lights at this park. 

Yes, under pavilion.

You can decorate the location however you’d like as long as everything is properly cleaned up afterwards. Except NO glitter, paint, rice, confetti, or anything too small for easy pick up.
