Heritage Park


Waterfront views, a turtle pond, playground area, green space, and a kayak launch along the Clear Creek Paddle Trail, this park is a local favorite. Whether you choose to fish, picnic, kayak, fly a kite, or stop by the on-site Butler Longhorn Museum, there is plenty to enjoy for all ages.


League Park can be reserved for birthday parties, weddings, etc. With a turn-of-the-century theme, League Park features a bandstand (gazebo), two basketball courts, picnic areas, benches, a playground, a pavilion, and restrooms.

To make a reservation, please walk-in to Hometown Heroes Park at 1001 East League City Parkway to fill out a reservation form. To check availability, contact Hometown Heroes Park at 281-554-1180.

You must book your reservation at least a week in advance at Hometown Heroes Park.

If you pay your deposit with cash or a check you will receive a check mailed 7-10 business days after your event to the address you provide. If you pay with a card the deposit will be reflected to your account within 7-10 business days after your event

You can decorate the location however you’d like as long as everything is properly cleaned up afterwards. Except NO glitter, paint, rice, confetti, or anything too small for easy pick up.

Yes, there are a few grills out at Heritage park by the picnic tables near the parking lot. There is also 1 over by the pavilion. Coals must be completely put out and disposed of properly.

No, there are no lights out at this park. 

Electricity is not available at this park.

We allow moon bounces at this location. You must provide proof of liability at the time of your rental. Moon bounce company must bring their own generator and MUST use sandbags to weigh it down. No stakes are allowed in the grounds. Water moon bounces are prohibited.

Yes, game wardens can still check you if you are fishing.
